I’ve been doing one sort of photography or another now ever since my mother let me play with her Minolta XG-1 SLR camera. Back in the day when you had to decide which ISO of film to use and of course, were you going to use the 24 frame roll or the 36, which would usually give you plus or minus 1 image depending on how liberal or conservative you were when loading the film into the camera.
Since that point in time I’ve tried to learn everything about photography that I could, even starting out using a homebrew pin-hole camera as a basis for figuring out the ‘how’ part of photography as the ‘why’ part was obvious, I just loved taking pictures.
Fast forward more than a few years and some major technological advances and here we find ourselves in the digital era where a lot of would be photographers have now become very good photographers, and a lot of really good photographers have experimented with new techniques and more new technologies and have become even better photographers.
How do I fit into this, why would you need my services? I think I offer more than great camera gear (which I do have). I believe I have a good eye for composition and of course timing… especially when it comes to portrait work with subjects that aren’t always able to give you their full attention. To get you that fantastic image isn’t always straight from the camera these days, and so most of my images receive a final ‘polish’ through the use of advanced post processing techniques.
Most of my post processing experience has been gained through freelance web and print design work which I do through my sister company lunomedia, so you can be assured that you are getting a high quality finished result.
I’ve also just started adding a small collection of stock images to various microstock agencies and as such some of my images are available as Royalty Free if you are interested. Most of my images are posted on dreamstime, just click on the link to see my portfolio currently available there. I’ll be adding more to that collection soon.
In the end, I’m an easy going personality and am always looking for new subjects or projects to shoot. So please drop me a line if your interested in a photo shoot or maybe you just have a question that I might be able to help you out with.
Thanks for your interest, and happy shooting.
